This initiative is designed to recognize peer role models who embody Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy. This award is unique because it is based solely on a student’s character, recognizing their commitment to traits like Service, Opportunity, Peace, Respect, and Unity. Recipients are true role models who motivate others through their compassionate actions. DPHS will select one student who best demonstrates these exemplary humanitarian efforts.
