Face masks are requiredALL students, faculty, staff, and visitors on campus are required to wear a mask on the school campus. A copy of the full district policy can be found on the OCPS website OCPS Main Website

CAMPUS REMINDERS
Car rider drop off: The drop off for car riders is in front of the Administration Building. Please pull down as far as possible to allow for as many cars as possible to drop off their students. Students should only exit the car on the curb side. Do NOT allow your student to exit the car on the driver side as we have 2 lanes of traffic moving through the loop. This is for the safety of your student.  

NO CARS are allowed in the Bus Loop for drop off.

Bike Rack: There is a bike rack located outside of the PAC which is to the left of the Administration building. Please make sure your student has a lock to secure their bike.

Student Parking: Students must have a parking decal to park on campus. The parking decal application can be found on the school website under the STUDENTS Tab. See Student Parking on our website.

Early release students
must be off campus within 10 minutes of their last class ending. Students will not be allowed to remain and wait on campus. The Administration will be moving students off campus after that time.

Delayed entry students should not be on campus more than 10 minutes prior to the start of their first class.
Failure to follow this school policy will result in being
removed from delay entry/early release.

NO FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS.

No Uber Eats delivers allowedCar pick up - Parents and families picking up in the afternoon should not arrive any earlier than 30 minutes before the end of the school day.

Checkouts - Checkouts in the afternoon will stop 45 minutes before the end of the day. If you need to checkout your student for an afternoon appointment you will need to by 1:30 p.m. on M, T, TH, F and by 12:30 on Wednesdays.

After school hours - In accordance with OCPS Policy, all students must be off campus within 30 minutes of the school day ending. Students will not be allowed to remain on campus to wait for rides beyond 3:00 p.m. Gates to the school will be closed and monitored by staff starting at 3:00 p.m. Only visitors picking up students after practices or needing to go to the main office will be allowed to enter the campus after 3:00 p.m.

After school practices - Any student participating in an after school practice must be under the direct supervision of a staff member.

Dress Code
We view high school as the work place for students and there is a dress code. Dr. Phillips High School follows the OCPS Student Dress Code.

Dress code reminders for Dr. Phillips students
Refrain from wearing:
  • Holes in the jeans above the knee
  • Half tops/ crop tops/ shirts tied up that show the midriff
  • Headphones covering ears (ex. Beats)
  • Head Garments/Accessories/Attire etc... that cover the head and prevents identification of student
