Principal's Message

Welcome to Dr. Phillips High School!

DPHS Community Member,

Since arriving as your principal this past summer, one thing became evident to me right away: when it comes to community involvement and kindness, there is no shortage of either generated by DP students, educators, staff and families. We saw another example of it again this past week with the success of the CIS Talent Show and Charity dinner in support of one of our alumni—Evan Staton who continues his fight against cancer. I share this because our mantra has always been DP Panthers—Never Less Than The Best and our high school lives up to it. I am just so very proud of our DP community and thank you again to everyone that participated in the CIS Talent Show and Charity Dinner.

Please don't forget our parent survey:

As we get ready to close out the month of January next Tuesday, keep in mind that Quarter 3 Progress Reports will be out on February 9. Please make sure that any missing assignments or projects are brought current right away. I know many of our Panthers set out academic goals for this second semester and we are already beginning week #5, so please do not lose your momentum or quit on your goals.

Thank you for reading and prepare to make this another successful week Panthers!
